Why Shop By E-mail?

  • Many Volvo owners don't have time to for shop used Volvo parts by calling around to two or three recyclers and arguing with a sales person who knows nothing about Volvos.
  • The nearest recycler may be too far away from your home, or open only on weekdays.
  • Without leaving your chair, you can use your computer to shop for the parts you need and pay only a fraction of the price asked by the Volvo dealer.
  • Order any time of the day and night. You decide when it is the right time for you!
  • Get technical assistance and answers to your questions. I don't pretend to be a Volvo guru, but I have a lot of service manuals and I spend my share of elbow grease rebuilding old Volvos.

About Stephane Lapointe

I currently own the following Volvos:

  • 1964 544 B20B: under full restoration
  • 1968 130 B18B: restored, my daily driver in the summer
  • 1982 244 GLT B23E: for my girlfriend and also my best car
  • 1984 245 Turbo B21FT: workhorse to haul all those parts!
I started selling Volvo parts over the net in 1995 following the restoration of my '68 130. Since then I shipped parts all over north America to 100's of happy Volvo owners.

This is just a basement operation and I don't intend to make a lot of profit. Most of the money I get from it is invested in upgrading my cars. I have a lot of pleasure meeting other Volvo owners and I am proud to help upgrading and keeping old Volvos on the road.

I get parts from many different sources. I usually purchase very sad cars who suffered years of neglect and are not restorable. In Canada, road salt in the winter can eat through the metal of even the toughest Volvo. I strip down the car keeping all the useful parts and update my catalog with my the new finds. Sometimes I will travel far for vintage Volvo parts and will pay a fair price. Contact me if you have parts or useless wrecks for sale.

I am a member of the Canadian Volvo Club and the Volvo Club of America. On the Internet, I subscribe to the Swedishbricks, VCOA, TurboBricks and Brickboard Internet mailing lists. Please encourage those clubs and you will not regret it !
