1970 144S. 4spd, factory A/C (not hooked up - no belt) White/Blue int. Body is almost perfect, interior in very good condition. 206K. Recent clutch, water pump, good tires. I've sadly concluded that I've got too many projects to give this really nice car the attention it deserves. Open to offers, might consider partial trade for parts for my 444 or 240. I'm near Reno, Nevada, about 2-1/2 hours from Sacramento.

1972 145E (yellow): Ran well; has been sitting two years. Very clean and straight -- some minor damage, but no rust. Car is complete and in good all around condition, + many spare parts. Newer fuel tank, injectors, pump, relay; brake mc, pads; 2 BRAND new tires (only 200mi -- bought to tow the car across the state). Everything worked; was planning to restore, but circumstances changed. $300/obo -- moving soon, car needs good home. Trade for 1800S parts? Excellent project!

1973 Volvo 142, 2 dr, dark blue -- 92,000 original miles! Of course, the odometer has recently begun to malfunction, but it's 92,000! Original owner a computer geek who kept the car in garage. Rust on rear panels, paint on doors is dull, and some general work needed. But a great, solid car that has ALWAYS started in Chicago winters. $4,000 obo.

1973 145 series Volvo. I am the second owner. Car has 102,000 original miles. Drive train is in excellant condition. At 68,000 miles a factory rebuilt ATK engine block replaced original. Current motor, B20E, is very strong. Equipped with 4-speed manual transmission. The unfortunate part is that the vehicle has been driven on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for about the last 15 years. Body rust is extensive, but the car is still driveable. This is a perfect candidate for parts or transplanting drive train to another vehicle. Also included is a mint condition Volvo factory service manual for the 1973 140 series. Asking $500 or best offer.

1973 142. 99K miles. Solid daily driver. Not a rust bucket. Runs very well. No OD. AC works but is weak. Much has been done to the car. Red with red interior. Not a show car, does have new large dent in right side. Repairable though. Needed a bigger car and have bought a 245. Impending snow forces a sacrifice price of $500. Please buy this car NOW!

1974 164E: Ran well 'til a buddy fouled up the starting system. 2nd owner. The doc who bought it must have only driven to a from the hospital. Only 54K mi. Car needs love and knowledge to keep this classic on the road. I have the love but not the knowledge and so my wife says it's time to pass it on. This Volvo sits in my drive awaiting another opportunity to run the open roads. It's worth the trip to Palm Springs CA to submit my asking fee of $750.
