Duane Matejka update

We have been running way behind schedule all season long due to delays in engine component delivery problems dating back into the spring. I had hoped to write up something for you but we have been lucky to even make the races at all. We arrived at Watkins Glen at 3 AM Saturday morning!

While I have three wins so far this season, I holed a piston while breaking in the new engine at the Glen and didn't make the race. Volvos dominated Group 2, however. Rich Kushner won, followed closely by Patti Enzman-Alspach, Mitch Duncan and Lars Andersson!

Best regards,
Duane

Thanks for the pic, Duane -- we're always happy to hear from you. Better luck with the new motor!

Kudos department

I owe you guys (and gals) a lot for all the great info I've gotten off of your web site. Just about every question I've had about upgrading my 122 has been answered. Keep up the great work!

Your article "Chaos, Volvos, and Pete" is excellent writing. Nothing less.

Lazarus has risen. Yes, my '73 142 (with the richer than rich mixture) is cured and has returned to haunt the highways and byways of New England, thanks to you.

You really do know what you are talking about. You receive my highest praise.
