I see an 1800ES and wonder if it is the car which I arranged to have sent to the museum, who at the time had no ES. I arranged the sale of one from Jim Blett at Swedish Car Service in Coopersville, MI. Since that time no one has been able to confirm it's where abouts! I do have a photocopy of the check from Volvo for my services though which notes for the purpose of obtaining an ES. (Plus some goodies from last years´ Volvo-meet in Göteborg ! ) PV 36 "Carioca" 1935: 6 cyl, 3.67 lit, 80 hp, For it´s time, advanced streamlined US-inspired design. Years of production: 1935-38. 500 vehicles made. Behind : TR 704 1935 (Taxi model) 6 cyl, 3.67 lit 80 hp TR 700 series production years: 1935-37 936 vehicles made. PV 60 1946: 6 cyl 3,67 lit, 90 hp. 3006 made. Owner: The King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf. This vehicle was given to him as a present on his 50th birthday. Same age ! Good luck with the tractor ! We also bought a used Volvo in october, it´s a ´00 S80 2.4 lit 5-cyl 170 hp automatic. It´s said to be among the safest cars around. The whole family loves it, youngest son Stefan got motion sickness in the VW, now we have no problems ! More to come......... Happy New Year !
